<span>Sr. Java Web Application Developer in Boston, MA<br>&nbsp;<br> Position Description: <br>Senior Java Developer will demonstrate extensive knowledge and experience in designing, developing, maintaining, and supporting complex enterprise level applications and other system software using a strong working knowledge of JAVA/J2EE and testing and coding standards. &nbsp;Development of applications, relational database concepts, and superior oral and written communications skills to effectively convey progress, issues, reports, and other customer deliverables with clarity and value is also required.<br>&nbsp;<br>Flexible work schedule<br>&nbsp;<br>Job Activities:<br>Contributes to the analysis and determination of advanced technological ideas and the development into a final product. <br>Applies advanced technical principles, techniques, theories and concepts.<br>Contributes to the development of new principles and theories.<br>Supports management and customers answering questions on advanced technical research studies and applications.<br>Works on unusually complex technical problems and provides solutions which are highly innovative. <br>&nbsp;<br>Required:<br>&nbsp;<br>Experience with J2EE technologies such as Core Java.<br>Familiar with Web Service technologies such as SOAP or RESTful.<br>Web development using Struts or JSP or CSS or JavaScript.<br>Experience with EJB or JDBC Spring or Hibernate or JPA<br>Strong XML processing experience.<br>IDE such as RAD or Eclipse<br>Experience with application servers such as WebSphere or Weblogic or Tomat or JBoss.<br>Desired:<br>Experiencing developing JAVA applications interfacing with DB2 using SQL.<br>Strong background in coding and testing Section 508 standards.<br>Prior experience working with Social Security Administration (SSA) web applications.<br>Well versed in SDLC, as well as RUP, Agile, Waterfall methologies.<br>Experience with version control software such as MKS Integrity, CVS, Subversion<br>and VSS.<br>Experience with user administration frameworks such as WebSphere Admin scripting using JYTHON, ANT, etc.<br>Experience working with IBM Rapid Application Developer and Web Sphere Application server<br>Knowledge of JPA<br>&nbsp;<br>Education:<br>Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 11 years of professional experience; or 9 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree. <br>&nbsp;<br>Background Check: Must be able to pass a drug and criminal background check<br>&nbsp;<br>Skills:<br>Core Java<br>EJB or JDBC Spring or Hibernate or JPA<br>IDE such as RAD or Eclipse<br>Junit,<br>&nbsp;<br></span> More...
