<span><B>Job Responsibilities</B><br>Modis is currently sourcing for an exceptional candidate for an open Project Manager here in Boston, MA. In addition to leading Agile and Scrum education sessions, our ideal candidate will be leading multiple teams on project assignments, reviews, debriefs, release planning, demos and more. <br> <br><B>RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE</B>:<br> <br><ul>
<li>Leads teams as a Scrum Master facilitating scrum sessions throughout the company</li><li>Educate and coach the company and its employees on Agile / Scrum practices</li><li>Assess the Scrum Maturity of the team and company, coaching both to higher levels of maturity at a sustainable pace</li><li>Remove impediments or guide the team to remove impediments by finding the right personnel to remove them</li><li>Facilitate getting the work done without coercion, assigning, or dictating work</li><li>Facilitate discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution</li><li>Track and communicate team velocity and sprint/release progress</li><li>Identify and manage dependencies with other teams and ensure cross-team coordination</li></ul>
<br><B>SKILLS / EDUCATION REQUIRED</B>:<br>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field required<br>First level Scrum Master Certification (PSM I, CSM) perferrd<br>Second level Scrum Master Certification (PSM II, CSP) preferred<br> <br><ul>
<li>Experience playing the Scrum Master role for at least one year for a software development team</li><li>Good skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency</li><li>The ability to distinguish between what ‘is Scrum’ and what ‘is not Scrum’</li><li>Knowledge of and experience with well documented and successful Agile techniques (e.g., User Stories, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Automated Testing, Burndown techniques, Retrospective formats, handling bugs, etc.)</li><li>Excellent communication and mentoring skills</li></ul>
<br><B>Preferred Skills/Experience</B><br><ul>
<li>Experience playing the Scrum Master role for at least two years for a software development team</li><li>Experience being on multiple Scrum teams in a variety of contexts (different team sizes, different organizations, different cultures, etc.)</li><li>Track record of continued and recent education in Scrum, including training, conferences, user groups, self-study, etc.</li></ul>
