Port Healthcare CenterCertified Nurse Assistant (CNA)Full Time, 40 hours/weekBase Pay: $20 - $23Differentials available for evening, night and weekend shiftsEssential Functions: Provide exceptional resident care including, but not limited to:- Identify special resident problems and changes in condition and report them immediately to supervisor- Bathes, neatly dresses and undresses residents- Grooms resident including shaving, hair and fingernail care- Accurately records percentage of resident food and fluid intake- Feeds resident according to care plan(s)- Monitors meal trays- Answers call lights timely- Delivers and removes resident meal trays- Pulls up side rails and rolls down bed- Changes incontinent residents-Takes residents to bathroom every 2 hours or as requested- Completes tub baths, showers or bed baths- Turns and repositions all bed and chair residents every 2 hours including but not limited to pulling up in bed- Empties and records all urinary drainage units- Assists nurse with treatment procedures- Changes bed linens on occupied and unoccupied beds- Takes, records and reports weights of residents- Inspects resident skin condition with daily care and reports to the supervisorPrerequisites:- Minimum 10th grade education.
