As a Genesys Senior Account Executive, you'll have the opportunity to help drive the adoption and growth of emerging cloud-based technologies that allow the government to communicate with constituents and employees more effectively. You will be expected to establish deep business and technical relationships through your knowledge of the state's goals and the environment - including the funding and legislative processes. You will have day-to-day interactions with customers and our eco-system of partners (Carriers, SI's, and ISVs) that support these customers. In this role, you will: - Drive revenue and market share in a defined geographic region.
- Articulate and implement strategic territory and account plans aligned to Genesys' strategic direction.
- Identify specific prospects/partners/channels to approach while communicating a relevant value proposition for your customer.
- Work with customers to ensure that they understand relevant CCaaS use cases, are successful using Genesys services, and are able to build the technical resources required to embrace cloud services.
- Understand the technical requirements of your customers and work closely with their IT development team(s) to guide the direction of our product offerings for developers.
- Collaborate with Genesys' Legal and finance team and others to manage complex contract negotiations.
- Maintain an accurate and robust pipeline and forecast of business opportunities.
- Develop and manage the sales pipeline by engaging with prospects, partners, and key customers.
- Prepare and deliver business reviews to the senior management team on quarterly and yearly strategies that align with revenue growth expectations.
- Accelerate customer adoption and ensure customer satisfaction.
Basic Qualifications - 7+ years of enterprise sales and/or business development experience with a focus on state and local government customers.
- 5+ years of technology sales experience selling enterprise software, hardware, networking, infrastructure, managed hosting services, or cloud computing services.
- BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
- Direct field sales experience
Preferred Qualifications - Technical background in contact center technologies, SaaS, IaaS, PaaS, software applications, networking, data analytical tools, web application development, cybersecurity, etc.
- Demonstrated history of consistently exceeding sales quota
- Experience selling to a variety of state executive agencies (including health care and human services, unemployment compensation, transportation, and revenue) and the judiciary.
- Extensive customer network
Compensation: This role has a market-competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation range listed below. Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidate's experience, qualifications, skills, and location. This role might also be eligible for a commission or performance-based bonus opportunities. $94,800.00 - $186,000.00 Benefits: |
