Southcoast Health is an Equal Opportunity Employer. Responsibilities Position reports to the Manager, Interpreter Services or designee. Provide coverage on-site for Interpreter Services as requested. Provide accurate consecutive interpretation. Develop a rhythm of interpretation to enhance the flow of communication between parties. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of encounters. Qualifications - Associate*s Degree or equivalent knowledge and experience in a related field is required.
- Training in medical terminology
- Interpersonal skills appropriate for handling sensitive patient and/or employee issues.
- Fluency in four (4) languages required, including English and three (3) assigned languages
