Senior Platform Engineer, Workday (Security)The Workday Security Platform Engineer will be responsible for leading the design, implementation, and maintenance of security measures to protect Capital One HR Workday environment.This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of Workday applications and data. The WD Security Engineer will act as a subject matter expert in Workday security, providing strategic guidance and technical expertise. - -Key Responsibilities: - Security Implementation: Assist in the design, implementation, and management of security controls for the Workday environment. Ensure security configurations and integrations are robust and effective.
- Risk Assessment: Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and risks within the Workday environment. Collaborate with the risk management team to develop and implement mitigation strategies.
- Access Management: Implement and manage role-based access controls (RBAC) to ensure appropriate access levels for users. Regularly review and update access permissions to maintain compliance and security.
- Incident Response: Assist in the investigation and response to security incidents related to the Workday environment. Participate in root cause analysis and remediation efforts.
- Policy Adherence: Ensure compliance with internal security policies and industry best practices. Contribute to the development and maintenance of security policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Collaboration: Work closely with IT, HR, and other business units to understand security requirements and integrate security measures into business processes. Provide technical support and guidance to stakeholders.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay informed about the latest security trends, technologies, and best practices. Proactively suggest improvements to enhance the security posture of the Workday environment.
- SOX Compliance: Support SOX audit activities by ensuring Workday security controls are in place and functioning as intended. Prepare documentation and evidence to demonstrate compliance with SOX requirements.Basic Qualifications:
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification
- At least 4 of experience in information security At least 3 years of Workday Security -Preferred Qualifications:
