Once You Are Here, You Will:
- Perform the role of Tableau Cloud site administrator by helping maintain and solidify deployment, governance, and security frameworks that enable Tableau Desktop users in the organization to publish, share, manage, and connect to data sources and workbooks in a secure and efficient way.
- Act as a mentor to the Tableau Desktop "ad hoc" developer community, communicate and advocate best practices, and help identify and troubleshoot usability and performance issues.
- Serve as a Tableau data manager who creates and publishes data sources to Tableau Cloud, monitors usage of published data sources and workbooks, and tracks the success of extract refresh tasks and user activity.
- Develop key metrics, uncover vital insights, and deliver critical analysis that will lead to data-informed decisions and guide business strategy.
- Work closely with senior leadership, department heads, and teammates to use data to drive the success of the organization.
- Assist with Alteryx Platform Administration, managing Alteryx environment stability and performance as well as content security, SDLC, and governance.
- Manage user access, permissions, and roles on all BI systems and servers, ensuring proper authentication and authorization.
- Develop SQL code for reporting, data structure optimization, and data preparation/cleaning/transformation.
- Design security architecture by customizing access levels and creating various user groups by assigning row and column-level security at the application, folder, and user levels.
- Responsible for maintenance and monitoring of BI systems using maintenance tools and monitoring tools, starting/stopping services, and maintaining statuses.
Basic Qualifications:
- 4+ years performing the role of a mentor to Tableau Desktop "ad hoc" developer community, communicating and advocating best practices, and helping identify and troubleshoot usability and performance issues.
- 4+ years performing the role of Tableau Cloud site administrator by helping maintain and solidify deployment, governance, and security frameworks.
- 3+ years of performing the role of Tableau data manager who creates and publishes data sources to Tableau Cloud, monitors usage, and tracks user activity.
- 3+ years of developing key metrics, uncovering vital insights, and delivering critical analysis that will lead to data-informed decisions.
- 2+ years of experience working closely with senior leadership and department heads to drive organizational success using data.
- 2+ years of assisting with Alteryx Platform Administration, managing stability and performance as well as content security, SDLC, and governance.
- 2+ years of managing user access, permissions, and roles on all BI systems and servers.
- 2+ years of developing SQL code for reporting, data structure optimization, and data preparation/cleaning/transformation.
- 2+ years of experience designing security architecture by customizing access levels and creating user groups.
- 2+ years of experience maintaining and monitoring BI systems using relevant tools.
