Candidates in this position have more than 5 years experience in equipment support and in-depth knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing equipment and processes.ResponsibilitiesKnows with equipment like back of their hand. Able to repair effectively. Able to perform training process on a PM/CAL SPEC.Responsible for supporting a variety of electromechanical process equipment in the Assembly Manufacturing areas or Test Manufacturing AreasWork from drawings, diagrams, technical manuals, schematics, written and verbal instructions. Strong soldering skillsImplement and fosters safe electrical work practices,Advanced mechanical competency.Advanced trouble shooting skills. Must be able to communicate both written and verbal information with vendors and co-workers. Create new SOP's and Specs. Intermediate 6S and lean capabilities Broad range of equipment knowledge and competencies.Ability to mentor and train other techniciansManage basic projectsHas extensive knowledge of most types of hand tools and metersCalibrate production equipment and collect and file required data, resolve out of tolerance conditions as neededPerform preventative maintenance on production equipment.Maintains accurate PM and calibration recordsRevise PM and Calibration specifications as required to meet equipment support continuous improvements Works with Engineering to resolve and correct more complex equipment issues and document corrective actionsIdentifies and implements equipment modifications to improve performance and reliability.Works with Engineering and facilities to bring new equipment on linePerforms job duties with emphasis on safety and housekeeping.May serve as a member on cross-functional project teams.Understands work environment issues (i.e. OSHA regulations, etc.).Performs other related duties and responsibilities, on occasion, as assigned. Qualifications2-year Technical Degree in Electronics/Electro mechanical required5 years prior equipment support experience requiredSkillsAbility to work independently or within a teamGood verbal and written communicationsProficient with the use of basic hand tools and metersProficient with Microsoft Office-- software suiteAble to adapt to the changing needed of a high paced manufacturing environmentGood organizational and follow-up skills, as well as sharp attention to detail.
