Overview Mass General Brigham - Salem Hospital, an academic community hospital and a member of the Mass General Brigham health care system, is seeking an Operations Chief of Hospital Medicine. Reporting to the Chief of Hospital Medicine, this position offers an outstanding opportunity for an experienced physician to provide strategic and operational leadership to achieve the clinical, quality, and fiscal objectives of the program.Salem Hospital focuses on supporting clinicians in a team-based environment with a goal of compassionate patient care. It is recognized for its work in improving patient experience and hospital operations through the application of standard work and innovation principles. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of clinical experience along with formal involvement in quality and process improvement, organizational engagement including hospital committee membership a strong record of collaboration; and must possess the ability to engage a broad base of potential stakeholders to work towards a shared vision. Past physician leadership experience is recommended. Board certification in Internal Medicine is required.
