Proficiency in computer skills (MS Office, Excel, Word, and Kronos) is highly desirable.Qualifications:Minimum A.S. degree in related Maintenance Technical Fields3 - 5+ years' experience in general maintenance supervisionBasic knowledge of building trades, such as power transmission systems, plumbing, and electrical systemsResponsibilities: As a member of the Maintenance Team, you will be responsible for:Maintaining equipment, machinery, building, and propertyOrganizing, planning, and directing work assignments for maintenance techniciansInstructing and coordinating the activities of all personnel in the department to maintain top efficiencies and productivityManaging and maintaining parts and supplies to minimize production downtimeAdministering safety policies, company rules, and bargaining agreements related to the departmentProviding guidance for compliance with plant safety regulations (e.g., Arch Flash Electrical Safety, NFPA-70E, LOTO, Energized Work Permits, Safe Cell Entry)Coordinating work with outside contractors, vendors, and suppliersMaintaining accurate records of machines and equipment repairs, drawings, manuals, and preventive/predictive maintenance programsEnsuring plant security and maintaining housekeeping standardsSupervising and evaluating employee safety behavior, work methods, and adherence to lockout/tagout safety proceduresMotivating workers and developing plans to achieve work goalsMaking approved modifications to machinery and equipment to meet production needsSupervising maintenance, installation, troubleshooting, and repairs of electrical and PLC equipmentInstalling new machinery and equipment as directedEnsuring the on-time completion of preventive and predictive maintenance program deliverables to improve facility equipment reliabilityAdvantages of working in the Maintenance group:Exciting, fast-paced environmentOpportunities for advancement within the companyIntegral part of a launch team for a new facility, with autonomy to influence and shape processesExposure to new products and technologyApplication: Qualified candidates are encouraged to send their resumes to kbarrymore judge.com More...
