  Position OverviewThis position will be accountable for overseeing day to day operations within the service bays and performing fast, accurate, high-quality mechanical service on light, medium and heavy-duty trucks as needed. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Working with store leadership team on incoming jobs
  • Managing and ensuring all mechanical service(s) are completed in a timely manner
  • Customer communication and interaction
  • Writing up estimates and work orders and communicating with clients/customers
  • Calling on parts quotes and ordering parts for jobs
  • Maximizing profitability and productivity
  • Training and developing service technicians in preventative maintenance and repairs
  • Performance communications with technicians
  • Controlling inventory levels on parts
  • Running Service calls as needed
  • Assisting or completing mechanical service(s) in shop as needed
  • Assisting store leaders at the front counter as neededThis position is technical in nature and requires a large commitment and investment in personal training and development. As you gain knowledge and experience, you will be able to start working towards your A.S.E. or State Certifications (company paid).Requirements:
    • Required Certifications: Brakes and Braking Systems, Steering and Suspension
    • Preferred Certifications: Electrical, Engine Repair, Drive Train
    • Must have at least 2 years of experience servicing automotive, commercial truck, or farm vehicles.
    • Must have at least 1 year of management experience
    • You must have a current valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record
    • Able to lift 75 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally
    • Must be able to stand, kneel and crawl while operating equipment and tools
    • Must also be at least 21 years old
    • Strong written and verbal communication skillsThe ability to work a full shift, come to work on time, and work according to the necessary schedule to meet job requirements with or without reasonable accommodation is an essential function of this position.
