As a Co-Op, you will participate in our nationwide Internship & Co-Op Program, LEAP, where you will have the opportunity to Learn, Engage, Apply, and Progress within the company. This is a fall position that has a typical timeframe of October-December. Internships and Co-ops may be shortened or extended at the discretion of the company. In this position you will be supporting the Combat Mission Systems Business at our Sterling Heights facility. This position is expected to be onsite in Sterling Heights, MI. Relocation, will not be offered. Housing is not provided. As a Program Management co-op, you will: Provide support in the following areas:

• Financial management-track progress to all financial salient objectives
• Cost management-track cost and project future cost
• Logistics management-review and update technical manuals
• Supply chain management-monitor supplier cost and progress
• Tracking and management of programmatic action itemsRequired Education, Experience, & Skills
  • Pursuing a Business or Engineering Degree or related field of study through a co-op program
  • Requires good written and verbal communication skills
  • Familiarity with the Microsoft suite of office products (Word, Excel, Outlook (e-mail), PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Good problem-solving skills and well organized
  • Skilled at preparing briefings in PowerPoint and using Excel to analyze data related to business and operations
  • Comfortable in front of a group and able to explain data and information
  • Must be a US Person due to the nature of our businessPay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $42570 - $57420Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.Temporary employees generally are not eligible for BAE Systems benefits, but can elect to participate in the 401(k) savings plan.
