Job Summary We are seeking a Pediatric Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary clinic. This position involves a weekend rotation at St. Joseph and Niles Hospital acute care, approximately 4-5 weekends and 1 holiday per year required. Essential Functions

• Perform evaluations to assess disability levels, establish treatment goals, and develop treatment plans.
• Provide therapy and education to patients and caregivers, and arrange adaptive equipment as necessary.
• Document patient evaluations and treatment in compliance with department standards.
• Instruct and train other staff and medical personnel on patient needs and rehabilitation services.
• Participate in process improvement, patient satisfaction initiatives, and program development. Qualifications
  • Required Bachelor's Degree or equivalent from an accredited occupational therapy program.
  • LIC-Occupational Therapist - State of Michigan Upon Hire required.
  • CRT-Occupational Therapist, Registered (OTR) - NB-COT Upon Hire required.
  • CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA/ARC within 90 Days required. Physical Demands
