Provides legal services in matters with some complexity and sensitivity calling on a significant breadth of knowledge and depth of experience. Has a broad business perspective and applies this perspective to legal analysis and solutions to meet objectives. Leads others in plans and execution and can lead teams or coordinate with other areas to provide legal services. May be called to represent the interests of the Company in any number of formal or informal legal proceedings including but not limited to federal, state or local judicial, or alternative dispute resolution processes.Key Accountabilities
- Accepts increasingly complex or sensitive legal projects and sees that they are effectively resolved in an efficient manner.
- May research legal principles and precedents, consult with outside counsel, draft and execute legal documents, gather relevant information using multiple sources and methods, provide work guidance to other professional or paraprofessional and support staff to develop solutions to business problems.
- Works with minimum legal supervision and collaboratively with all levels of internal clients.Minimum Education & Experience Requirements
- Graduate of accredited law school and admitted to the bar in employee's state of residence
- 5 years of legal experiencePreferred Qualifications
- General liability/tort experience
- First-chair litigation experience
- In-house experience, including managing outside counsel/ litigationOther Qualifications
