Talent Development Lead As the talent Development lead, we're looking for you to transform our approach to employee development and strategic workforce planning. In this role, you'll be instrumental in ensuring that our career pathing and competency-based hiring processes are both intentional and impactful, you will do this by managing our talent acquisition professional and creating meaningful connections between the talent acquisition and talent development strategies. During your first year with the organization, you can expect to lead initiatives focused on integrating skills training, professional development, and tuition programs into a cohesive strategy that not only identifies and nurtures existing talent but also aligns with our long-term organizational goals. Your expertise will be pivotal in facilitating employee growth and connecting career aspirations with succession planning. Join us in creating a dynamic, growth-oriented environment where every team member has a clear path to success and advancement. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with Team Managers and Directors to create and implement strategies designed to identify, assess, and develop current and potential leaders. Partner with Team Managers and Directors to create and manage competency-based job descriptions. Utilize competency framework for career pathing key job groups and activating the internal talent marketplace. Conduct assessments to evaluate current and emerging skills, competencies, and behaviors required for organizational success and future needs. Create synergy between talent acquisition and talent development strategies. Continuously evaluate and elevate our talent development and talent acquisition strategies and processes. Oversee the long-term growth and development of our talent acquisition professional. Assist with annual budget building and management for Acquisition & Development activities. Locate and maintain training resources and partnerships by coordinating internal & external trainers and vendors. Research, locate, apply for & manage training grant opportunities. Enroll and Track both internal and external company training. Coordinate applications for Tuition program, track use, reimbursements & completions. Required Skills and Experience: Proven experience in organizational and talent development, with a focus on succession planning, career pathing, and training organization. Bachelor's degree in human resources or a related field and 5+ years of relevant experience preferred. Experience managing talent acquisition teams or developing strategic plans linking recruitment to talent development. Strong leadership presence and relationship building skills to interact effectively with all levels of an organization and drive success. Ability to prioritize initiatives based on the evolving needs of the company, making consistent strategic recommendations to company leadership.
