<span>*PLEASE, NO 3RD PARTY APPLICATIONS*<br>&nbsp;<br>Systems Engineer Senior <br>&nbsp;<br>Modis has an exciting opportunity for a top-notch IT professional &ndash; a Systems Engineer Senior job located in Dearborn, MI 48126<br>&nbsp;<br>Job Description: &nbsp;<br>This job opportunity is a Systems Engineer Senior for one of the major automotive companies based out of Dearborn, Michigan. &nbsp;<br>A few key responsibilities include: <br>&bull; Support 1000+ Linux/AIX servers in Data Center 24x7 <br>&bull; Applying patches, installing infrastructure software, managing file systems, monitoring performance<br>&bull; Troubleshooting alerts from monitoring system for system error conditions (system down, disk full, CPU busy, memory full etc.)<br>&bull; Servicing tickets submitted by developers (configuration; troubleshooting; s/w installation assistance)<br>&nbsp;<br>Our client is a Fortune 500 company and has been in the automotive business for more than 100 years.
