The ideal candidates will utilize their knowledge to provide procurement support for company's Global Logistics operations This role requires a comprehensive understanding of international freight operations, cost optimization strategies, supplier management, and industry-specific supply chain dynamics. The candidate will frequently collaborate with Logistics leadership team and other key stakeholders.Key Responsibilities:Procurement Management: - Develop and execute procurement strategies for international air freight services.
- Source and negotiate with freight forwarders and logistics providers.
- Support supplier relationship management to ensure service quality, reliability, and cost efficiency.Logistics Contract Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams to align procurement process and business requirements for smooth and compliant execution.Cost Optimization: Analyze freight spend and identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising service quality per SLAs set forth by the company.Reporting and Analysis:
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to air freight operations to identify and pursuit better cost and performance from suppliers.
- Use data-driven insights to recommend process improvements.Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in supply chain management (e.g., CSCP, CPSM).
- In-depth Experience managing complex international freight spend and operations.
- Proficiency in procurement systems and logistics software.
- Proven experience in the high-tech industry or similar sectors with high-value goods.Minimum Qualifications
