Job Details - This position has basic knowledge of pathophysiology of cancer and is able to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care for these special patients.
- Regularly assesses patient's/client's needs and provides skilled nursing services as prescribed by the physician authorized plan of care, and accepted standards of nursing practice.
- Provides direct resident care, including medication administration, treatments, call lights, assisting with transfers, responding to alarms, etc.
- Demonstrates a consistent high level of customer services and compassion when delivering care to patients.
- Evaluates effectiveness of treatment plan and makes suggestions or participates in updating/revising the treatment plan in collaboration with other team members, utilizing current information to improve patient care.
- Processes physician/provider orders and performs physician ordered care accurately, completely and in a timely manner.
- Follows up regarding medication changes and order clarifications.
Job Requirements - Will take ICU/ED Experience, but prefer Infusion Experience
- Oncology Experience - Highly Preferred
- Epic Experience - Preferred
- Work History
- Skills Checklist, current to 1 year, pertinent to the specialty
- 2 Supervisory References taken within the last two years
- Licensure & Certifications (MI LARA & BLS)
- Candidates' Permanent Address (Facility will not consider local candidates - 50-mile radius restriction)
