About the Job: Inventory & Demand Planning Manager This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Inventory & Demand Planning Manager to lead a skilled team at a dynamic and growing company. In this integral role, you will have the opportunity to shape the demand planning processes, ensure optimal inventory levels, and facilitate key business decisions through data-driven insights and cross-functional collaboration. You will play a pivotal role in driving continuous improvements and fostering teamwork to meet and exceed business forecasts and objectives. Compensation: DOE Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Lead the Demand Planning Team in daily operations and strategic planning.
- Act as a functional expert in the forecasting process and facilitate SIOP execution for critical business units.
- Manage inventory guidance and oversight, focusing on slow moving and obsolete stock, new SKU introductions, and end-of-life process management.
- Drives central inventory analytics and optimization, enhancing weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance.
- Oversee organizational inventory targets and lead essential inventory meetings across the business landscape.
- Distribute inventory updates to the Leadership Team and Operational sites on a regular basis.
- Enhance professional business support as an expert inventory analyst.
- Guide a team of Demand Planners to achieve world-class forecasting accuracy and operational efficiency.
- Foster the utilization and best practices of Integrated Business Planning (IBP) within the demand forecasting module.
- Drive effective discussions during SIOP meetings to ensure comprehensive cross-functional collaboration.
- Provide robust analytical support to streamline and standardize the demand planning process.
- Compile and deliver executive summaries from SIOP meeting notes to senior management.
- Continuously monitor and improve forecast accuracy KPIs, promoting performance enhancement.
- Collaborate with individual business units to create material objectives and refine sales history alignment.
- Offer ongoing training to users to ensure understanding and maximize the benefits from IBP efficiencies.
- Participate in broader supply chain and business operations initiatives, representing the Supply Chain department.
Minimum Position Qualifications: - BA/BS in Business Management, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in manufacturing, supply chain, and/or inventory management.
- Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to process and improve systems.
- Proficient knowledge of supply chain processes including inventory management, demand and supply planning, capacity planning, and materials management.
- Skilled in SAP, with hands-on experience using advanced planning and scheduling tools like SAP-IBP.
Preferred Qualifications: - Advanced degree in Business or Supply Chain Management.
- Professional certifications related to supply chain or inventory management.
- Experience in leading cross-functional teams and projects.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Previous roles involving substantial data analysis and decision-making based on analytics.
