A local organization is currently seeking Technical Support Representatives for a contract to hire opportunity in Minnetonka, MN. Technical Support Representatives are responsible for assisting and educating customers using a variety of modes including phone, web and chat. Technical Support Representatives will be responsible for the following:
-Rapidly respond to incoming customer inquiries, focusing on quality and customer satisfaction
-Clear and thorough documentation of customer interactions
-Support inquiries include questions relating to: hardware, software, wireless communications, OTAP, account management (billing), upgrades, online orders, etc
-Willing to fiercely advocate on behalf of and represent the Voice Of The Customer
-Research and prepare detailed escalations to second level support which includes Wireless Communications, Customer Managers, Integration Services, 3rd Party Partners and Leadership
-Review, manage and follow up on open issues as needed
-Project work that includes long and short term initiatives
Required skills:
-Excellent written and verbal business communication abilities with demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills
-Ability to work in fast paced enviornment where work volume quickly fluctuates and a high degree of organization is key
-Education: Bachelor's or Associates Degree in an IT related field a plus or equivalent work experience in help desk, troubleshooting, or related enviornment
-1 to 2 years of Customer Service/Support experience
-Experience working in a call center a plus
-Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
-Demonstrated customer focus and problem solving abilities
-Experience troubleshooting hardware of software (either remontly or onsite) a plus
This is a contract to hire opportunity. Pay for this position is $15/hour (while on the contract with an increase upon hire).
Hours for this position are as follows: Starting in the role, training would take place 830am-5pm M-F. Once you are hired on permanent, your schedule would then change to either Sunday-Thursday 2:30pm-11:00pm or Monday-Friday 2:30pm-11:00pm. There is also an opening (following the training) on the overnight shift (approx 10pm-6am), but it is a work from home option (you would be provided a laptop as well as a reimbursement amount for cell phone monthly).
