Job Description SummaryThe Executive Director will have the responsibility for and authority to manage all aspects of the SRALAB at the Partnership location including the management direction of all management staff, rehabilitation nursing staff and allied health staff assigned to the PMR Program, in partnership with the Medical Director. The Executive Director will be an employee of SRALAB and function with the Medical Director as a self-managed team. The Executive Director will report directly to the Vice President of the Strategic Alliances, and will have accountability to certain other administrative/executive representatives of SRALAB. In addition, the Executive Director will be accountable to the Oversight/Governing Committee of the SRALAB Partnership.The Executive Director will work collaboratively with appropriate members of the management teams of each Partnership and SRALAB affiliate to assure that the services of the Program are coordinated and integrated with other affiliate services.Consistently demonstrates support of the SRALAB statement of Mission and Philosophy by striving for excellence, contributing to the team efforts and showing respect and compassion for patients and their families, fellow employees, and all others with whom there is contact at or in the interest of the institute.Demonstrates SRALAB Core Attributes: Communication, Accountability, Flexibility/Adaptability, Judgment/Problem Solving, Customer Service and SRALAB Values (Hope, Compassion, Discovery, Collaboration, & Commitment to Excellence) while fulfilling job duties. Job DescriptionThe initial responsibilities of the Executive Director will include: - Together with Medical Director, accountability for all activities of the PMR Program.
- Leadership in extensive program development for acute medical/surgical, inpatient acute, outpatient, any future services of the partnership;
- Budget development and variance analysis
- Management of financial and material resources within the approved budget;
- Ensuring Program compliance with regularity and accrediting agencies;
- Monitoring and analyzing financial operations and devising proactive strategies to ensure favorable financial performance;
- Development, implementation and management of referral promotion and marketing plan, specific to SRALAB at the Partnership;
- Successful collaboration with and leadership of the relationship with Alliances;
- Selection and management selection of key staff for each service line level of care; programs, and sites of care;
- Identification of appropriate skill mix and staffing plans for each service line, program, and site of care;
- Education of allied health staff;
- Staff development and performance evaluation
- Perform all other duties that may be assigned in the best interest of SRALAB.Reporting Relationships
- Reports directly to the COO & Senior Vice President, SRALAB Corporate Partnerships and to the Partnership Executive Designee.
- Develops effective teams and working relationships with all colleagues, staff, and constituencies of SRALAB, Partner, and of the SRALAB/Partner relationship.
- Understands and upholds shared leadership with the Medical Director.
- In coordination with the Medical Director, manages all management staff, nursing staff and allied health staff.Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required
