Material Handler - Eden Prairie Minnesota

Adecco is seeking a Material Handler for Eden Prairie. This position is responsible for assembling materials into job kits as identified in work orders. This is a great contract to hire opportunity for the right individual. We are looking for motivated, reliable, hardworking individuals.
Responsibilities:
- Review work order pick list to identify materials required to build work orders kits
- Ensure all work orders are completed timely and accurately and staged to meet requirements of the work schedule
- Restock unused items and new receipts in warehouse in a timely manner to prevent production delays
- Support the cycle count process by assisting in the actual counts as needed
- Will perform warehouse maintenance including but not limited to, bin verification, relabeling, open bin identification, ensure that all items have an inventory tag and the current inventory level is -accurate and on the tag, assist in printing of labels or assist in programming IC's, and fill part request forms, as needed and instructed by supervisor/team lead
- Support the VMI process by assisting in the fulfillment of requests as needed, and instructed to by supervisor/team lead
- Communicate any issues or discrepancies to the appropriate personnel; i.e. Planners, Line Leads, Supervisors, and Engineers
We have openings on the following shifts:
1st Shift 5am-3:30pm Monday-Thursday (Pay: $12.25-14.00/hour DOQ)
2nd Shift 3:30pm-2am Monday-Thursday (Pay: $12.75-14.50/hour DOQ)
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1+ years of manufacturing experience; inventory or supply chain management experience preferred
- Experience working in an MRP environment
- Intermediate verbal and written communication skills with the ability to read, write, and otherwise communicate effectively in English
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment with quickly changing priorities to ensure superior customer satisfaction
- Accurate typing skills and/or data entry
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to analyze data variances and independently discover and resolve stock shortages
