ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: -Other duties may be assigned.

• Responsible for designing, developing, and testing of all hardware and software process control systems.
• Programs industrial control systems.
• May provide consultation on manufacturing and processing projects.
• Analyze and reduce scrap increasing efficiencies.
• Details drawings and coordinates building of prototype product and testing.
• Responsible for writing and implementing required maintenance procedures, and performing actual maintenance as required.
• Performs a variety of tasks utilizing electrical engineering concepts, practices and procedures.
• Resolves problems related to assigned projects by working with vendor, customers, shop personnel, and others as necessary.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES - Requires knowledge typically acquired through:
  • Completion of a Bachelors degree in engineering from a four year college or university, technical or vocational school,
  • Three to seven years related experience or training, and / or equivalent combination of education and experience. -
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or government regulations. -
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. -
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and groups of employees.
  • Ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory, and factor analysis. -
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. -
