Overview:We are seeking an MRI Technologist to be a part of our team at the Blaine M Health Fairview Imaging Center! This position is eligbile for a sign on bonus stating at $3,000!The technologist plays a crucial role in patient care by producing high-quality diagnostic images in a friendly and accessible environment. This professional ensures age-appropriate services, adhering to established standards of practice while collaborating effectively with the healthcare team to deliver optimal patient outcomes. Responsibilities include operating MRI equipment, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining imaging quality standards, all while providing compassionate care to patients of all ages in an outpatient setting.Schedule: This position will be working 0.6 FTE (48 hours every two weeks). The shift will be on the day/evening shift. Come join our team!Responsibilities/Job Description:Maintains patient carePerforms examinationsIdentifies relevant data from images accuratelyCommunicates pertinent data clearly to the appropriate health care professional.Ensures patient safety and emergency preparednessDocuments patient informationEnsures accurate film identification on all imagesAccurately completes computer functions-edits, status changes, loggingAccurate film marking and jacket preparationAchieves quality diagnostic images by use of accurate positioning of patients and correct operation of equipment.Performs training and education dutiesParticipates in the orientation of new employees.Responsible for the training of studentsParticipates in the training of health care professionals and new employees.Maintains equipmentCorrectly operates and optimizes the use of equipmentUnderstands the structure visualized and its significanceQualifications:Required:ARRT CertificationMeet MRI Safety Screen requirementsBasic Life Support (BLS) - from American Heart Association or American Red CrossPreferred:Additional education in Imaging or Healthcare1 year of experienceMRI Certification within 18 months of hire or transfer to the roleby Jobble More...
