Overview:Fairview Health Services is hiring a CT Technologist to join our CT Scanner department at our M Health Fairview Southdale Hospital location in Edina, MN. This role is eligible for a sign on bonus up starting at $4,000!At Southdale Hospital, we are known for our award-winning heart, stroke and cancer care. We offer 24/7 Imaging services to Inpatient Units and Emergency patients and we have outpatient access seven days a week. This position in the CT department would offer imaging care to in-patients, out-patients and emergent patients. The technologists work collaboratively within the Imaging team and amongst varying levels of clinical practitioners. The CT technologist will provide imaging services to a wide variety of examinations from Neuro, Body, Musculoskeletal, & Vascular. This position may be willing to cross-train into CT for those that do not have experience.The CT Technologist functions independently based on the boundaries of professional practice in performing all major work responsibilities. The Technologist provides services to patients and physicians through the creation of high-quality diagnostic imaging, provides quality age-appropriate patient care according to established standards of practice, and works collaboratively with all members of the health care team. The technologist is responsible for performing the responsibilities in accordance with all policy, procedures, and regulatory agency requirements (ARRT).Schedule: This position will be working 0.8 FTE (64 hours every two weeks). The shift length will be a mix of 8 & 12 hours, primarily assigned to the day shift.
