CHS is looking for a Hazmat Driver to join our team in Willmar! Our drivers deliver agronomy and crop protection products to our customers, both locally and regionally. This is typically a M-F, daytime role, with potential for some Saturday work when needed. Our drivers travel regionally, and could be out in the truck 3-4 nights per week depending on the season and need. Join our amazing team today!**This role is eligible for a $3,000 sign on bonus! $1500 will be paid after 30 days, and an additional $1500 after 90 days of employment in the role.Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate and on time deliveries to our customers in a safe, timely, and professional manner.
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal laws. To include but not limited to pre-trip and post-trip reporting, proper load securement and hours of service.
• Assist in the warehouse when not delivering product.
• Work extended hours in-season to meet business demands.
• Maintain and promote a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies, procedures and regulations. Identify and communicate workplace hazards and correct or seek assistance in correcting unsafe actions or conditions
• Assist warehouse staff and perform other duties as needed or assigned.Minimum Qualifications (required)
  
  • Class A CDL
  • 1+ years driving experience
  • High School diploma or GED
  • Must meet minimum age requirementAdditional Qualifications
    
    • Hazmat, Tanker and Air Brake endorsements, or willing to obtain within 30 days of hire
    • Comfortable driving both manual and automatic vehicles
    • Comfortable travelling over the road for 3-4 nights per week
    • Must meet DOT and Company requirements
    • Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
    • Ability to work additional hours and occasional Saturdays to meet business demands
    • Bulk liquid experience preferred
