Job Title: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) Job Specialty: Behavioral Health Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days - 8 Hours Guaranteed Hours: N/A Experience: N/A License: Valid State License in which services will be provided Certifications: CSWE accreditation preferred Must-Have: - Ability to manage anger, fear, hostility, and violence of others - Crisis prevention experience - Above average organizational skills - Proficient in applicable software applications - Ability to prioritize multiple tasks Job Description: - Provide high-quality psychotherapy services including assessments, diagnoses, treatment planning, group treatment, individual treatment, family treatment, and discharge planning. - Assist patients and families in understanding and adjusting to diagnoses and potential treatments. - Identify resources during and after treatment and discharge. - Design and implement treatment plans based on thorough assessments. - Participate in referral development processes and engage as an active member of the referral development team. - Assess patient progress, communicate results and trends to supervisors and treatment teams. - Conduct individual and/or group psychotherapy sessions adhering to state and regulatory standards. - Provide education, resources, and support to patients throughout treatment. - Engage in timely discharge planning, coordinating with patient families, nursing staff, and attending physicians. - Complete progress notes and assessments according to program procedures. - Participate actively in interdisciplinary and treatment teams. - Perform other duties as assigned.
