Each year this distributor partners with schools across the country, hosts more than 130,000 book fair events that give more than 35 million students and their family?s access to thousands of affordable and educational products, helping foster a lifelong love of reading. Currently, they are seeking experienced, energetic, customer service oriented Full-Time CDL-B Company Drivers to join their team to deliver and pick up their quality products. Overview
Drivers will deliver and pick up books from fairs at schools throughout North Carolina and Virginia. Drivers load/unload 5-10 cases per location as well as boxes packed with books and educational products. Drivers average 6 stops per day and must be able to lift/carry up to 75 lbs. as well as push, pull, and handle metal/plastic rolling book cases weighing more than 350 lbs. on a regular/repetitive basis. Occasionally may need to break down pallets. There will be a helper to assist. Schedule is Monday-Friday, no weekends. OT paid after 40 hours. Paid training. This position will have non-driving responsibilities 30% of the time.

Compensation
$20.00-$24.00 per hour depending on experience

CDL-B
1 year verifiable commercial driving experience
21 years old minimum
Material handling experience
