Basic Qualifications: 3 years experience as a straightener

Job Description: Straightens metal plates, weldments, bulkheads, decks and structural shapes by preheating with hand torch and then cooling with water. Have a working knowledge of the size torch tips to be used in accordance with data charts that provide the thickness, area, temperature, and amount of stress of metal to be heat.
