Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist / Setup to join our team in Wright City, MO. This full-time position plays a key role in producing precision metal parts for the aerospace industry. The ideal candidate will have experience with CNC machining and setup, working with a variety of metals to meet exacting aerospace specifications.

Key Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC machines (mills and/or lathes) to manufacture parts to specified tolerances and quality standards.
Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical documentation to determine machining operations.
Select and load appropriate tools, fixtures, and materials for each job.
Monitor machine operation and make adjustments as needed to maintain accuracy and quality.
Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC machinery.
Inspect finished parts using precision measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers) to ensure conformance to specifications.
Adhere to all safety protocols and quality standards within the aerospace manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
2+ years of experience in CNC machining and setup, ideally within aerospace or precision metals.
Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical documents.
Strong attention to detail, with experience in quality control and inspection processes.
Ability to troubleshoot and perform basic machine maintenance.
Familiarity with measurement tools and gauges commonly used in machining.
Knowledge of safety procedures in a manufacturing environment.
