Our talented team has over 25 years of experience providing analytical services for stand-alone and integrated biologics projects.Catalent Pharma Solutions in Kansas City, MO is hiring a Maintenance Technician - General.-- The Maintenance Technician - General is responsible for the upkeep of the buildings, common areas, and overall campus grounds. This position directly contributes to the success of the company by maintaining the facility.This is a full-time, hourly role. ----This is onsite.-- This position is a 1st Shift role. • Perform repairs to building and fixed facility equipment; Remove and replace broken equipment
• Perform plumbing and electrical repairs as required
• Replace ballasts, light fixtures, and bulbs; Paint facilities as needed
• Keep inventory of maintenance supplies and materials required for facilities maintenance, ensuring proper inventory levels of repair parts so repairs can be made in a timely manner
• Operate company or personal vehicle as needed
• Follow all established EHS standards, safe--work--practices, and--quality requirements including Lockout/Tagout and permits
• Perform lawn maintenance and irrigation including items such as seeding, fertilizing, aerating, and general irrigation system maintenance
• All other duties as assignedThe Candidate:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent is required
  • Two+ years of relevant work experience in general maintenance is required
  • Possess good communication and problem-solving skills highly desired
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Internet Explorer is required
  • Ability to work overtime, evenings, and occasional weekends due to project assignments
  • Individual may be required to sit, stand, walk regularly and occasionally lift up to 40 poundsWhy You Should Join Catalent:
