- Shift Differentials -Overview:Medical Surgical- Adults & Peds-6th FloorWe are a high-energy, fast-paced 30 bed Medical/Surgical/Adult & Pediatric unit that cares for medical and post-operative patients. These patients are primarily adults 18 years and older. However, we also care for approximately 1-2 pediatric patients per month. Our patient population consists of but not limited to post-op knees, hips, shoulders, colon resections, bariatric surgery, sepsis, pancreatitis, appendectomy, cholecystectomy, and stable pneumothorax. Our nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:6 with the assistance of Patient Care Associates. We have an exceptional unit highlighted by coworkers with knowledge, dedication, teamwork, empathy, and compassion. -Medical Surgical- 7th FloorWe are a 30-bed Medical/Surgical Unit. Our patient population includes GI, Oncology, UTI, Dehydration, Pneumonia, COPD, Wounds, and Post-Op care. - Our nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:6 with Patient Care Associates on the floor to help. Our floor's core values are teamwork and accountability and you will find a sense of belonging on our team. Qualifications:Education: Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing programLicensure: Is personally responsible for obtaining(Must pass NCLEX within 90 days of Graduation Date), and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.Physical requirements/demands: Position requires individuals to push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis. Position requires prolonged standing and walking each shift. Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform dutiesCertifications:
