The Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services (DPHHS) has a career opportunity within the Technology Services Division.
The position assists the Chief Information Officer (CIO) in developing and managing technology services, strategies, processes and functions for the Department of Public Health and Human Services (DPHHS). In collaboration with the CIO, this position establishes and implements strategic plans and objectives by overseeing, planning, integrating, and coordinating activities and staff in all areas of the Technology Services Division (TSD). The position directly and indirectly supervises a large team of technology service managers and professionals.

Qualifications for this Career Opportunity

• Extensive knowledge of industry standards and best practices in the implementation of IT solutions.
  
• Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, contract management, and resource allocation.
  
• Ability to develop and execute IT strategies and complex projects in a rapidly changing environment.
  
• Ability to develop and implement innovative and unconventional approaches to challenging situations.
  
• Bachelor's degree in business administration, Technology, Public Administration, or related field.
  
• Five or more years of senior-level work experience managing business systems and project portfolios.
  
• Three or more years of senior-level management and supervisory experience preferred.
  
• Other combination of education and experience may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

    This position may be eligible for partial telework within the state of Montana. Specific conditions will be provided by the supervisor and must adhere to state policy.
    Salary: $58.57 - 61.37 Hourly
    Telework Eligibility: Telework Eligible (Full-time telework is not available. Telework schedule must be supervisor approved.)
