TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ICU/Critical Care RN in Great Falls, Montana, 59405 Pay Information $2,272 per week About The Position Job Title: Critical Care Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Cardiovascular ICU, Critical Care Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum of 3 years in critical care License: Current State RN Licensure Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS Must-Have: Degree from an Accredited Nursing Program, advanced nursing principles and procedures knowledge, critical care, CVICU, and open heart experience preferred Job Description: - Provide care to hemodynamically stable or predictably unstable patients in a cardiac medical surgical unit. - Deliver physical, emotional, spiritual, and cultural support to patients. - Manage a diverse patient population including pediatrics, pre and post PCI care, pacemaker patients, revascularization, carotid endarterectomy, thoracotomy, CHF, COPD, DKA, renal failure, DVT, PE, and sepsis. - Operate advanced medical equipment including central lines, chest tubes, nasogastric tubes, continuous bladder irrigation, A-lines, and handle patients requiring short-term ventilation support. - Administer care for general medical and surgical patients on the in-patient unit. - Apply skilled assessment and intervention tools to identify potential deteriorating conditions. - Implement established policies and procedures with minimal supervision. - Provide direct patient care from admission to discharge, including discharge planning. - Act as a clinical leader and assist with precepting staff. - Work cooperatively with providers, healthcare professionals, and allied health staff.
