Yellow Brick Road Early Childhood Development Center is looking for a versatile and enthusiastic Floating Assistant Teacher. If you love variety in your workday and building relationships with children of all ages, this is the perfect opportunity for you.
Rotate between different classrooms, assisting with daily activities and lessons across all age groups, from infants to school-age children.
Provide support wherever needed, from leading small group activities to one-on-one mentoring, helping to manage classroom dynamics, and stepping in for lead teachers as required.
Engage with all children, building strong relationships and becoming a familiar, comforting presence in their day.
Collaborate closely with the entire teaching staff, offering flexibility and support across the center.
A flexible and adaptable educator who enjoys working with children of various ages and developmental stages.
Personable and friendly, with a knack for quickly forming strong, positive relationships with children.
Comfortable moving throughout the facility during the day to reach different classrooms.
Able to engage in physical activities with children, including playing, bending, lifting, and sitting on the floor.

Must meet basic requirements of local childcare regulatory agency
Previous teaching or assistant teaching position in a licensed early childhood program preferred
Must adhere to the DHHS guidelines for training.
Must pass a Nebraska Child and Adult Abuse and Neglect Central Registry check. - Must pass a background check and undergo the Nebraska State Patrol fingerprinting process.
