One of the nation?s largest privately-held real estate developers, is actively seeking a senior-level candidate for the position of Private Client Services Administrator. This position will join and work cohesively with the Lewis team of in-house and outside attorneys and tax professionals to provide a comprehensive range of support in the Office and Private Trust Company.
The Office and Private Trust Company provide the following types of services to members of the Client Family, which are its private clients. Depending on the qualifications of the person hired for this position, this individual may become involved with some or all of these services.
Family Office:
? Accounting services
? Tax services
? Legal support services
? Wealth management
? Management of household employees and related payroll services
? Various insurance services relating to liability, health and property insurance
? Bill paying and personal bookkeeping
? Overseeing maintenance for family member homes
? Arranging and managing financing of personal assets
Private Trust Company:
? Review and understand complex documents, e.g., trusts, wills, etc.
? Coordinating periodic income and principal distributions from trusts and the transfer of assets into trusts
? Assisting with routine trust accounting
? Maintaining financial records of trusts
? Implementing trust provisions and distributing trust assets
? Interacting with senior management, company peers, outside consultants, banks and law firms
Qualifications:
The successful candidate for this position will be a highly competent individual with strong organizational skills and great attention to detail; highly motivated, loyal, trustworthy, and discrete. This position requires a great deal of reading and understanding of complex documents. The individual must work well on their own with limited supervision and must be able to change directions and manage a multitude of tasks, some of which, in all probability, may be totally new and different. At times the position is highly clerical ? i. e. taking notes, doing minutes of meetings, etc.
Must be able to work with a variety of personalities when dealing with various family members.
? Experience as a Paralegal or other professional capacity managing trusts, estates and/or assets for high net-worth individuals and their families is desirable
? BA/BS from accredited university is desirable but not required
? Previous experience in Accounting is also desirable but not required
? Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills, and excellent mathematical skills
? Proficient knowledge with Microsoft Windows environment and working knowledge of Excel spreadsheets and scheduling
? Some travel may be required - generally within Nevada and/or California
