A company is looking for an Underwriting Managing Director to lead a team of Underwriters in a remote setting.



Key Responsibilities

Complete wing-to-wing underwriting decisions, starting with review of upfront underwriting data and tools
Coach and develop Underwriting Consultants and Senior Consultants
Finalize cases and perform second-sign duties as needed while adhering to productivity and quality standards


Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

10 - 12+ years of Life Insurance Underwriting experience with proven proficiency
5+ years of team management experience in an Underwriting capacity
Ability to handle advanced decision-level authorities without a co-signature ($15 Million or higher)
Bachelor's Degree preferred
Completion of FALU, CLU, FLMI, or other insurance-related coursework is preferred More...
