    Job Requirements
    • Graduate of an accredited educational program for surgical technologists with a Certified Surgical Tech Certification.
    • Primary Source Verification of professional license, and/or certification, as required for the position. Ran within 30 days of start. Updated upon expiration.
    • Must score 80% or higher on Prime Core Competencies Exam.
    • Must score 80% or higher on Prime Specialty Exam.
    • Annual Respirator fit test. Saint Mary's Regional Medical Center - Onsite testing for 3M 1870+; if fit-tested on the same model within a year, bring documentation.
    • National Criminal Background Check within one year of start date.
      Additional Details
      • COVID-19 Vaccine - Completed primary dose series per CDC guidelines/medical or religious exemption using form # PHSI-320-022.
      • Proof of 2 vaccines at least 28 days apart or positive titer for MMR.
      • Quantiferon or T-Spot test within the past year with a negative result OR two documented negative PPD skin tests within the past year.
      • Proof of 2 vaccines at least 28 days apart or positive titer for Varicella.
      • Hepatitis B Declinations not accepted at Shasta Regional Medical Center.
      • Declinations not accepted at Shasta Regional Medical Center for Influenza Vaccine.
      • TB Test - Must have documentation.
