Position Summary We are seeking a Therapist responsible for providing high-quality, client-centered therapeutic services to individuals, groups, and families in an outpatient setting. This position involves conducting assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, facilitating therapy sessions, and documenting all clinical services provided. The Therapist will work collaboratively with the Clinical Director and other members of the clinical team to ensure the highest standard of care. Additionally, the Therapist will contribute to the development and improvement of clinical programming and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and accreditation requirements. Essencial Duties and Responsabilities Clinical Services Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices. Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop tailored treatment plans. Regularly evaluate client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all client interactions, assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes in accordance with facility policies and regulatory standards. Address co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders with appropriate interventions. Collaboration and Consultation Collaborate with the Clinical Director and other clinicians to ensure the integration of care. Participate in interdisciplinary treatment team meetings to discuss cases and treatment strategies. Serve as a clinical resource for staff, providing consultation on challenging cases and assisting with case conceptualization. Engage in case consultations and treatment team meetings to ensure the provision of high-quality care. Program Development Contribute to the development of group curricula and other therapeutic programming to meet client needs. Stay current on the latest treatment modalities and incorporate them into therapy sessions as appropriate. Collaborate with clinical leadership in refining and expanding therapeutic services, including group facilitation and documentation practices. Compliance and Quality Improvement Ensure all therapeutic services are in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as organizational standards. Participate in clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives to maintain high standards of care. Assist in preparing for regulatory and accrediting body reviews as needed. Professional Development Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with advancements in the field. Participate in regular clinical supervision and coaching sessions to enhance therapeutic skills. Maintain all required licensure and certifications and participate in continuing education as required by state regulations and organizational policy. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Demonstrated proficiency with electronic health record systems and documentation requirements. Strong understanding of evidence-based therapeutic approaches, such as CBT, DBT, and Motivational Interviewing. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including active listening and providing constructive feedback. Empathy: Ability to demonstrate compassion and understanding of clients' challenges and needs. Problem-solving: Capable of developing and implementing creative solutions to address client and clinical challenges. Collaboration: Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment. Cultural Competency: Awareness and sensitivity to working with diverse populations and adapting approaches accordingly. Ability to perform the physical tasks typical of a therapy position, such as sitting for extended periods, using a computer, and interacting with clients. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds. Ability to walk up and down stairs during emergency drills or situations. Education & Experience Master's degree in counseling, social work, or a related field from an accredited institution. Licensed as a mental health professional (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, etc.). Experience working with individuals with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health issues preferred.
