We are looking for an experienced Spanish and English proficient legal assistant who can help busy attorney and paralegals at our law office assist our clients. You'll be responsible for answering and processing all incoming calls, drafting and managing office correspondences and documents, arranging meetings and travel, and calendaring upcoming deadlines and appointments. You'll also perform any other tasks as needed to ensure our firm is operating efficiently. Responsibilities:

--- Schedule meetings and appointments for the team, such as depositions, make travel arrangements, and coordinate with outside vendors for events
--- Manage office correspondence and administrative tasks such as answering phone calls, communicating with opposing attorney offices, taking dictation, responding to emails, and reminding the team of upcoming deadlines
--- Complete legal research as needed under the supervision of attorneys and paralegals
--- Undertake other duties as needed to ensure the firm operates efficiently


Qualifications:

--- Organizational skills and communication skills are necessary for this position
--- Applicants must be able to type 50 words per minute or faster
--- Able to meet demanding deadlines in a fast-paced environment
--- Proficient with MS Office products
--- High school diploma or equivalent is required; associate's degree is a plus
--- Must fluently speak, write, and read in English and Spanish
