Security ReceptionThe primary responsibilities of the Security Reception position are to support all activities relating to the employee entrance control center desk. This includes welcoming visitors, monitoring CCTV and Access control systems, managing and directing phone calls, receiving services, collaborating with other building service members and providing general administrative support to the Workplace Environments office. How You Will Make a Difference: - Oversee entry and exit from the Corporate Headquarters building and provides escort services to employees and visitors. Issue visitor badges and ensure visitors are escorted by the person they are visiting.
- Monitor CCTV and access control systems and report and investigate incidents. Perform access audits of systems.
- Create building access badges for new hires, visiting employees and vendors; work with supervisor as needed for badge review and audits, creation or termination, etc.
- Reports system alarms and any medical, safety or security incidents and uses discretion in accordance with security policies.
- Manage Conference Room scheduling and setup needs.
- Answer all incoming telephone calls professionally, and transfer call to respective extensions.
- Monitor building and maintenance requests and emailed service requests from VF employees and teams; ensure requests are dispatched.
- Provide back up support for the Workplace Environments team, including assisting with mail room package receipt and delivery, meeting room set up as needed.
- Perform other administrative duties as assigned and assist with special projects as needed.
- May be required work overtime or fill various shifts for staff coverage.
Skills for Success:Years of Related Professional Experience: 3+ yearsEducational/ Position Requirements: - 2-3 years of related professional experience ideally as a front of house security role or front desk receptionist in corporate environment
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent customer service and strong desire to assist the internal and external customers.
- A can-do approach
- Ability to effectively utilize PCs, Microsoft Word and Excel, and Outlook email.
- Strong organization and attention to detail
