The selected candidate will have the opportunity, to acquire product knowledge, use and advance their technical skills on innovative technology while performing their assigned responsibilities in the product development on advanced projects in a Hybrid work format.The duties assigned to this senior engineering position, will include the following:

• The Senior Hardware Test Engineer will participate on a team of Hardware Design engineers to design, develop, and deploy Test Solutions, to include Test Stations and Integrated Test Adapters (ITAs). The Test Solution designs cover wide ranges of technologies, equipment, and approaches and will offer an interesting, challenging, and rewarding career opportunities.
• Hardware Test Engineering positions provide development in a broad range of technical domains. The individual will participate in up-front program engagement activities, including strategy and planning, Design For Testability (DFT), test hardware design, integration, debug, verification, validation, sell-off, and support.
• The position also includes collaboration on continuous improvement initiatives with peers, as well as Operations counterparts, to establish and refine test development practices and approaches for the department. Examples include common architectures, design for reuse, DFT, standard tools, & standard approaches.It will be expected that the candidate be proficient in state-of-the-art design and analysis tools, laboratory equipment and techniques, and executing in a small team environment.On top of numerous diverse and challenging career opportunities, BAE offers flexible schedules (including every other Friday off), competitive compensation, and an excellent benefit package that includes tuition reimbursement for advanced degrees. Required Education, Experience, & Skills Bachelor's degree in Electrical EngineeringExperience with product development and support of electronics equipmentSolid fundamentals of digital/analog/power/mixed signal electronics and interface/communication standardsUnderstanding of electronics manufacturing and test methodologiesStrong written and verbal communication skillsExperience developing compact embedded systems for harsh environmentsExhibits an exceptional degree of ingenuity, creativity and resourcefulness.Familiar with electrical engineering design, schematic capture and analysis toolsEligible to obtain a DOD Security ClearancePreferred Education, Experience, & Skills Experienced in using RF test instrumentation (Network Analyzer, Signal Analyzers, Signal Generators, etc.)Experience in systems analysis of test requirements and solution implementationsExperience with Test Software development and /or integrationExperienced writing test code to support digital, RF or optical testingExperience with printed board assembly (PBA, PCB) design using Cadence toolsExperience using NI LabWindows and TestStandExperience in factory production test stands, problem isolation and resolutionFamiliarity with AS9145 compliant processesExperience with FPGA designsExperience with Electronic Warfare systems or high power RF software defined radio (SDR) hardwareKnowledge of memory interfaces such as DDR, QSPIKnowledge of data transfer protocols such as PCIe, Ethernet, JESD 204, I2C, JTAGActive DOD security clearancePay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $92290 - $156860Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
