In the advanced electronics domain, we further the mission by developing and delivering some of the most advanced microelectronics products that enable our customers to differentiate their offerings across commercial and defense markets.This Program Manager will manage, coordinate, plan, organize, control, integrate, and execute multiple programs simultaneously. They will ensure achievement of financial, schedule, and technical performance objectives. They will support new business capture and development of financial plans for the company. They will be expected to model and demonstrate strong leadership in ethics, safety and security. Direct people-management responsibility is typically required for this position.The selected candidate will support programs with employees based out of Merrimack, NH, Burlington, MA, and Arlington, VA. This position requires a comprehensive interface with Contracts, Subcontracts, Finance, Procurement, IT, and Security functions within the company as well as with internal and external customers to ensure that the portfolio's financial, schedule and technical objectives are met and that the highest level of customer satisfaction is achieved. You will have a significant opportunity to work with leaders in these areas and in the technical business areas defining future technology transition.This role will involve a combination of collaborative/in-person and independent work. Although the role will take the form of a hybrid work format allowing some remote work, it will require mostly in-person on-site work due to the classified programs within the portfolio.Key aspects of this role: - Accountable for all aspects of program initiation, planning and execution (cost, schedule, technical performance, quality, customer engagement, etc.) and ensuring program commitments are met.
- Responsible and accountable to the Business for program execution, profitability, timeliness, and overall success. Makes decisions that are cost effective to the company and ensures assigned projects meet financial commitments for orders, sales, profit and cash flow.
- Leads or participates in the creation of new business strategies and in the development of strategic and financial plans
- An understanding of life cycle management
- Knowledge of defense contract types
