In this role, you work to implementing robust, repeatable, standardized, and advanced technological solutions. You will be working on addressing existing problems with an eye to future technological needs. Site Reliability Engineers work a coordinated cross-capability team including Core Services, DevOps, Security, and IT Operations to achieve your project objectives. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time.Required Education, Experience, & Skills
  • Must currently possess a DoD Secret Clearance
  • Experience: 6+ years in the realm of Site Reliability Engineering.
  • Enthusiasm: A desire to deliver excellence and a focus on meeting user needs
  • Technological: An understanding of cloud technologies and service lifecycle management.
  • Infrastructure Automation: Experience in deploying capabilities and services through automation like Ansible or Helm Charts.
  • Storage Proficiency: Experience with storage technologies like NFS, JDFS, Ceph, Object Storage (S3).
  • Virtualization Experience: familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware, Open Stack, or Azure Stack.
  • Problem Solving: Proactive approach to identifying and resolving performance issues.
  • Clearance Ready: Eligible for TS/SCI clearance.
  • Security+ or equivalent or ability to obtain a Security+ within 90 days.Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
    • Active TS/SCI Clearance
    • Orchestration: Familiarity in Kubernetes and similar technologies.
    • Collaborative Spirit: Experience working in cross-functional teams.
    • Coding: Experience with coding beyond simple scripting.
    • Clearance: Desired Secret or higher.Pay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $126610 - $215270Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
