Job Description In Countermeasure & Electromagnetic Attack Solutions, we provide next-generation threat detection and countermeasure solutions to provide unparalleled electronic warfare capabilities to enhance mission survivability.In this role you will be part of the Advanced Compact EW Solutions (ACES) product line and directly responsible for leading a dynamic program running multiple contracts concurrently as well as a lead on the ACES OPM team. This person will act as a mentor and coach for junior employees on the team to provide guidance and leadership on all aspects of the OPM role. ACES is developing the next generation of expendable countermeasures and dispenser solutions leveraging our 40-year history in these technologies. Building on foundational programs such as ALE-55 and ALE-47 we are positioned well for continued growth.This Operations Program Manager will oversee and manage the Operations project(s) and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management. Prepares project execution plan and identifies technical and business resources needed. Reviews status of projects and budgets, manages schedules and prepares status reports. Assesses issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Provides technical and analytical guidance to project team.Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Leading the operations team by working with Manufacturing management, Supplier quality management, Supply Chain management, Procurement, and Logistics to drive problem resolution.
- Partnering with 6 supporting factories across the country to remove roadblocks and provide leadership support to overcome stops on the manufacturing floor.
- Driving down (HPU), Defects, unit production cost (UPC), Scrap and Rework data, and working crossing functionally to identify areas for efficiencies, cost reduction, and other opportunities.
- Effectively holding functions accountable to action item closure and driving resolution.
- Proactive approach for new production lots utilizing lessons learned
- Providing concise communications and critical data up the leadership path and presenting in/to Product Line and Customers. Required Education, Experience, & Skills
