Job Description Because this role involves a combination of independent and collaborative work, this position can be conducted 100% remotely. We are seeking dedicated thought leaders in product support to shape, influence and maximize the company's role in the support of the products and capabilities we deliver. Candidate must be a passionate, self-starting, high performing leader with relevant program management, business development and capture experience to optimize support solutions and position the business for growth. The Life Cycle Integration Director will be an integral member of product line/ program leadership teams and be responsible to provide holistic lifecycle support oversight throughout development, production and support phases of programs. Responsibilities include working with portfolio managers, program managers, functional leads and customers to develop and execute product support strategies and campaigns; working as an active member of capture teams; leading sustainment captures; contributing to and influencing tactical plans, all with the objective of achieving customer requirements for long term sustainment readiness objectives of Electronic Solutions.The role requires individuals to have: - A deep understanding of lifecycle support from program inception through fielding and disposal
- A deep customer knowledge and business acumen to be able to develop campaigns, white papers, business cases
- The ability to influence design for support, planning for support and executing support solutions and analysis of the life cycle and product support implications
- As a contributing member of product lines the candidate must be able to work with customers and internal teams to formulate strategy, pave the path, shape and influence campaigns to advance value added solutions across the program life cycle with the ultimate goal of maximizing our role and the addressable market.
- The candidate must possess excellent communication (written, verbal and active listening) and proficiency in delivering presentations and written documents for executive level communication.
- Experience building and maintaining customer relationships is essential for this role as well as the ability to manage complex projects with multi-discipline teams.
- Individuals considered for this role will be program managers; they must have the ability to roll up their sleeves and actively contribute; must have experience with sole source and competitive proposals/captures and must demonstrate business acumen. The individual will be responsible to form networks, lead teams and guide work products; develop campaigns and have the ability to counsel product line/portfolio leads on the implications of decisions.
- Candidate must be comfortable working in a very dynamic, fluid environment and enjoy problem solving. Familiarity with DOD 5000 acquisition policies and process, product support management, and integrated product support element guides a plus. Familiarity with DOD and international military protocols, customers and courtesies is a plus.
