This role offers an exciting opportunity to deliver exceptional patient care across a diverse range of ages and conditions in a supportive and collaborative environment.Job FunctionsAssessment Skills: Perform thorough and accurate assessments, delivering appropriate care from Pediatric to Geriatric patients.Clinical Skills: Demonstrate competent clinical skills, providing direct patient care and supporting the team concept.Documentation: Maintain complete and accurate documentation, taking primary responsibility for documenting the nursing process and patient progress.Professionalism: Uphold professional practice responsibilities, identifying areas for clinical and professional growth.Patient Satisfaction: Respond to patients, families, and co-workers professionally and courteously, maintaining confidentiality according to HIPAA guidelines.Safety: Follow National Patient Safety Goals and demonstrate safe transfer techniques and proper body mechanics.Unit Specific Job Function: Individualize patient care according to surgical procedures and anesthesia, assessing patient reactions and understanding.Responsibility and Accountability: Contribute to the perioperative team, prioritizing patient care based on needs and condition changes.Patient Education and Chart Completion: Include patients and families in teaching, performing pre-operative and postoperative assessments and education.Duties Specific to PAT RN: Support timely completion of patient testing and evaluate Pre Admission Testing orders.Skills1 year experienceBLS - RequiredRN License - RequiredPatient CareDocumentationPediatric and Geriatric CarePatient Education and TeachingEducationGraduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
