<span>Modis is seeking an IT Manager for a full time job in Woodbridge, NJ. <br> <br>In the role of IT Manager, you will generally be responsible for the strategic support, design, development and implementation of information systems, software applications, IT support and infrastructure systems. The IT Manager will initially serve in a hands-on capacity to manage, build and deploy new systems to support every aspect of the client’s business and will be supported by external vendors. The IT Manager will be expected to establish an organization that balances a combination of internal staff and external vendors to effectively and efficiently support on-going and anticipated growth in the business. <br> <br>In the role of IT Manager, your responsibilities will include:<br>• The overall technology vision, strategy and execution.<br>• Hands-on support of a team environment including external vendors and new staff as required.<br>• Leading by example through appropriate participation and involvement in, and oversight of IT activities.<br>• Developing and maintaining relationships with all external vendors (software, hardware and services).<br>• Ensuring the integrity of corporate data, sensitive information and other intellectual property is maintained.<br>• Contributing to overall business strategy with senior management team creating long-term value through specialized technology/IT insight.<br>• Managing department budget: P&L management, focus funds on key strategic initiatives.<br> <br>Required skills and experience for the IT Manager role: <br> <br>• Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology Management or Business Management. <br>• 10+ years of IT infrastructure experience with 5+ years of managerial experience.<br>• Experience with ERP and cloud-based systems to support core business processes.<br>• Experience working with hand-held scanners, bar codes and configuring a new warehouse to support automated picking, wave planning and cartonization functions. <br>• Experience integrating Retail Customer POS data to support global demand and procurement planning activities. <br>• Experience designing, building and migrating to a new data center and corresponding information systems networks, desktop, laptop and mobile computers. <br>• Experience with deployment of system security products, telephony and server solutions.<br>• Experience with Managed Services and IT Integration.<br>• Experience with a variety of mobility devices (Blackberry, Windows Mobile, Droid and iDevices), MS Windows Clients & Servers from Windows 2000 to Windows 8 (client) and Windows Server 2008 & Server 2012.<br>• Working knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, FTP and HTTP.<br>• Solid understanding of network environments (Wired and Wireless).<br>• Experience working with Firewalls, Routers, & Switches.<br>• Experience with Microsoft SQL, Scripting and Cisco equipment.<br> <br>Our client is motivated!
