You will operate as a trusted advisor for our key technologies, platforms and capability domains, creating clear and concise communications, code samples, blog posts and other material to share knowledge both inside and outside the organization. You will specialize in a particular subject area, but your input and impact will be sought and expected throughout the organization.In this role, you'll provide technical leadership to teams of mobile engineers supporting the core Android platform upon which Capital One's award-winning mobile app is built. The frameworks you contribute to will be used by hundreds of engineers across the company and shipped to millions of customers.   • Bachelor's Degree
  • At least 7 years of experience in mobile development for Android
  • At least 5 years of experience with following technologies: Kotlin, Coroutines, Channels, Flow, Android Studio, and the Android SDK - -Preferred Qualifications -
    • Master's Degree in Computer Science or a related field
    • 10+ years of experience in Android development
    • 8+ years of experience in - reactive programming paradigms
    • 8+ years - in mobile cybersecurity concepts and techniques (vulnerability detection and remediation, certificate management)
    • 8+ years experience building enterprise-grade mobile applications and frameworks
    • 5+ years experience working with large, federated monorepo codebases
    • 2+ years experience with the Apple / iOS ecosystem and related technologies
    • 2+ years experience with web services and cloud architecture
