All patients will either be observation status or inpatient and will be holding in overflow areas. The nurse could potentially be floated to the floors in the hospital as well to care for inpatient/observation patients. Unit is located next to Emergency Dept and can hold up to 4 patients from ED (ED Holds). 1 East RN's should be capable of reading EKG. Any MedSurg/Tele/Stepdown RN to care for Hold patients in the ED, Observation patients or Float to 3 West. Entire hospital is set up to be Tele. Additional Information ================= 1E Surge/Overflow - Med Surg/Tele RN Care for Hold Patients in the ED, Observations patients or Float to 3 West. This role will really be an inpatient focused role. All patients will be either observation status or inpatient and will be held in overflow areas. Nurses could potentially be floated to the floors in the hospital as well to care for inpatient/observation patients. Weekend is a requirement First Day Instructions Sent by client directly to the worker the Friday prior to Monday GEO. The worker will receive three emails from client Their manager to review scheduling HR to review badge instructions and other policies Education to schedule their orientation classes. If your worker has not received FDI by 3pm on Friday, alert MSP. Orientation Overview Monday- Virtual GEO Tuesday-Thursday - Classes with education Friday-Sunday - Orientation Shifts *Worker must be available the full 7 days of their first week for Orientation.
